I’ve actually been eating a lot more protein since becoming a vegetarian, because I’m conscious of the amount of protein I need, whereas before I wasn’t. And I’m sure becoming a vegan will just make me all the more aware of the nutritional value in my food (which could also be a bad thing. but. yeah)

Pros and Cons of giving up eggs and dairy

Pros:

  • Most milk cows and chickens are treated inhumanely
  • Dairy and chicken farms produce huge amounts of greenhouse gases and are horrible for the environment.
  • Possible health benefits (If I go about it the right way)

Cons:

  • It could trigger an anorexia relapse
  • Going out to eat and staying at friend’s houses will be really difficult
  • Cottage Cheese :(
